This Saturday sees the two winners of the opening round of league games clash in Tullamore.
Limerick will be on a high travelling to the midlands after getting the better of last year’s Munster champions Tipperary. In comparison Offaly came away from Aughrim with a hard-fought victory.
Billy Lee will be looking to the sharp shooters of Hugh Bourke and Danny Neville to pave the way for his side to get another win in this division which they have just been newly promoted too.
Lee was lucky enough to get half of a game into last year’s star man Iain Corbett who should now be fully fit for this second game. With Corbett at the heart of the defence Lee will be confident of another win.
The evergreen John Maughan side is full of a lot of hard workers which one would have seen if they had seen how, they eked out a victory against Wicklow.
Captain Niall Darby anchors Offaly's defence very well. The Carroll brothers are starting to gain experience for the side and having the Niall and Ruarí McNamee still soldering for the side especially with Niall coming off the bench could have a major say for the midlanders at home in this tie.
